Sherritt International Corporation ("Sherritt" or the "Corporation") (TSX: S) today announces the voting results of the Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders held earlier today. Total shares represented in person or by proxy were 116,863,565 or 39.77% of shares issued and outstanding. Voting for the eight individual members of the Board of Directors was as follows:
