Clinton Township, Minnesota--(Newsfile Corp. - September 16, 2020) - Resgreen Group (OTC Pink: RGGI), a leading mobile robot company, today announced that it has completed building Wanda, a light-duty Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) that uses UVC lights to disinfect everything from plants and warehouses to hotels, office buildings and airplanes. RGGI is now in the testing phase where it will fine tune and validate all aspects of the vehicle. The company expects to begin limited production at the end of October and ship to waiting customers in November.

"Due to increasing demands from our customers, we have pulled out all the stops to complete our first Wanda vehicle," said Parsh Patel, CEO of RGGI. "Wanda features two 50-Watt UVC lights that kill 99 percent of harmful pathogens, making facilities cleaner and safer for customers' employees."

The UVC lights operate in the 254 - 270 nm range to break down the DNA or RNA of dangerous viruses and bacteria found in water, surfaces and air. Wanda sanitizes an approximate 100-foot area in just 15-minutes. Lights underneath the vehicle are used to disinfect the floor, while the light towers cover tables and other surfaces. Long exposure to UVC light can be dangerous to humans. Shields are used to protect workers from floor lights, which remain on when the vehicle is in operation. The tower lamps are equipped with a delay timer to allow time for employees to leave the premises before disinfection begins.

Wanda is extremely compact with a 17" by 17" base and 40"-high light towers, making it easy to fit through doorways and narrow hallways. As an added benefit, Wanda can transport more than 300 pounds of packages and mail.

"To expedite production, we sourced nearly all components from the U.S., where the vehicle will also be manufactured," said Patel. "This helps lower costs for our customers and makes it easier and quicker to deliver replacement parts and additional vehicles."
