TORONTO, Dec. 10, 2018 /CNW/ - Polaris Infrastructure Inc. (TSX:PIF) ("Polaris Infrastructure" or the "Company"), a Toronto-based company engaged in the operation, acquisition and development of renewable energy projects in Latin America, announced today the appointment of Anton Jelic, CPA, CGA, as Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Mr. Jelic complements Polaris Infrastructure's existing management team with broad expertise in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and accounting, and will provide strategic input as the Company continues to execute on its growth strategy, including the recent expansion into Peru.

A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) / Certified General Accountant (CGA), Mr. Jelic has held a wide range of senior finance positions, including substantial experience in the renewable energy sector.  Mr. Jelic is a graduate of York University in Toronto, Ontario.  In his new role, Mr. Jelic will be taking over for Shane Downey.  Mr. Downey has been Chief Financial Officer of the Company since 2015 and has in recent weeks facilitated a seamless transition to Mr. Jelic.
