Park Lawn Corporation Acquires Balance of Ownership Interest in Tubman and Cadieux Funeral Homes

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Sept. 1, 2016) - Today, Park Lawn Corporation (TSX VENTURE:PLC) ("PLC") exercised its right to purchase all the remaining outstanding shares in Amety Limited which owns Tubman and Cadieux funerals homes in the Ottawa, Ontario area and Outaouais, QC. In 2014, PLC purchased 50% of Amety Limited with the ability to purchase the remaining shares at a future date. As of September 1st, 2016 PLC now owns 100% of Amety Limited.

Since 2013, PLC has grown from 6 cemeteries in the Greater Toronto Area to 56 properties operating across Canada and in the United States. PLC and its subsidiaries own and operate 34 cemeteries in Ontario and Michigan, 16 crematoria and 22 funeral homes, chapels and planning offices in Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
