MONTREAL, May 11, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Nouveau Monde Graphite’s (NMG) (TSX-V:NOU) (OTCQX:NMGRF) (Frankfurt:NM9) is pleased to announce that the Annual General and Special Meeting (AGM) will be held on May 18, 2018, at 10 am (Eastern Standard Time) at the Mont-Trinité Chalet, located at 200, chemin du Mont-Trinité, Saint-Michel-des-Saints, Québec, Canada, J0K 3B0. Visits of the mining site and of the demonstration facility will follow.

The AGM reference date, to determine voting rights and dress the list of current stakeholders, was determined on Friday, April 6, 2018. Are summoned and allowed to attend only current stakeholders that have received a meeting notice or withhold a valid proxy form.

In 2015, Nouveau Monde Graphite discovered a major and high-quality graphite deposit on its Matawinie property, located in Saint-Michel-des-Saints, 150 km north of Montreal, Quebec.
