Newmont Mining Corporation (NYSE: NEM) (Newmont or the Company) announced its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.075 per share of common stock, payable on December 28, 2017, to holders of record at the close of business on December 8, 2017.

This dividend is payable under the Company’s gold price-linked dividend policy. The dividend of $0.075 per share is 50 percent higher than the dividend declared in the prior year quarter.

The declaration and payment of dividends remains at the discretion of the Board of Directors and will depend on the Company's financial results, cash requirements, future prospects and other factors deemed relevant by the Board.
