(“Naturally Splendid”) (TSXV:NSP) (OTC:NSPDF) (Frankfurt:50N) is pleased to announce the Company’s wholly owned division, Prosnack Natural Foods (“Prosnack”) has passed it’s annual audit of its Safe Quality Food certified food manufacturing facility.
The Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program is a rigorous food safety and quality program that is known by retailers, brand owners, and food service providers world-wide, for operating within some of the highest standards in the food manufacturing industry. Many large retailers in Canada and abroad insist that products sold in their stores must be manufactured in facilities with certifications such as SQF, which opens additional business opportunities to the Company.
Recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), the SQF family of food safety and quality codes are designed to meet industry, customer, and regulatory requirements for all sectors of the food supply chain, from the farm all the way to the retail stores. The SQF food safety and quality certification provides the assurance that food products manufactured for our own Company brands as well as for our contract manufacturing clients, meet the highest possible global food safety standards.
