Bank employees are currently identifying clients potentially affected by the situation and will contact them proactively in the coming hours. Affected clients are invited to call TelNat Customer Service at 1-888-835-6281 or to contact their branch.

The relief measures include:

  • Deferred payments on personal loans
  • Deferred payments of principal and interest on personal mortgage loans
  • Personalized, case-by-case agreements for affected business clients

"We're concerned by the situation that many of our clients and their communities are facing in the areas struck by the floods. We're asking them to contact us without hesitation as needed. We want to help and have a positive impact on their lives, in spite of these difficult circumstances," explained Lucie Blanchet, Executive Vice-President, Personal Banking and Marketing at National Bank.
