OTTAWA, ON, April 26, 2024 /CNW/ - Media representatives are cordially invited to a press conference that the members of the Union of Canadian Correctional Officers UCCO-SACC-CSN will be holding this Sunday, April 28 at 11:10 a.m. On April 28 of every year, Canada observes its National Day of Mourning in commemoration of those who have lost their lives, suffered illness on the job or experienced a work-related tragedy. This year, UCCO-SACC-CSN will be present on Parliament Hill to take part in a 24-hour vigil in honour of our peers for whom this day is of special relevance.

Union representatives will be present and available for interviews in both English and French.
