GATINEAU, QC, April 17, 2024 /CNW/ - Media representatives are advised that the Government of Canada will hold a bilingual technical briefing on Canada's priorities and objectives for the fourth session of the Intergovernmental Negotiation Committee on Plastic Pollution (INC-4) with senior government officials from Environment and Climate Change Canada.

From April 23 to April 29, 2024, Canada will welcome delegations, high-level representatives, partners, and stakeholders from around the world to Ottawa for INC-4 to continue the ambitious action needed to end plastic pollution and reduce plastic waste.

The briefing will be on background only and not for attribution.
