Home Capital Group Inc. (“Home Capital” or “the Company”) (TSX:HCG), today announced the appointment of Betty DeVita to its board as an independent director effective November 11, 2021.

Ms. DeVita is a global executive with over thirty years’ experience in digital transformation, payments and consumer financial services. She is currently the Chief Business Officer and member of the board of FinConecta, a global organization that brings digital solutions and financial services companies together through an API platform to accelerate digital transformation and open banking. Prior to FinConecta, Ms. DeVita served as Chief Commercial Officer of Digital Payments & Labs with MasterCard and held positions of increasing responsibility with Citigroup Inc., from 1982 to 2010, leaving as Chair and CEO of Citibank Canada. She currently serves as a director of Popular, Inc.
