GreenPower announces B.C. demonstration tour of EV Star, an all-electric Min-eBus or Cargo Transport Vehicle

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Oct. 02, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GreenPower Motor Company Inc. (TSXV: GPV) (OTCQX: GPVRF) (“GreenPower”) announced today the tentative schedule and locations for the first Ride and Drive events for the EV Star all-electric Min–eBus in British Columbia.

The EV Star is an all–electric, Zero Emission 7.5-meter bus that seats up to 19 people or can be used to transport cargo, with an operational range of 200 to 320 kilometers on a single charge.

This versatile vehicle can be used for Micro-transit services, para-transit, vanpool, shuttle, school, employee transportation, tourist operations or cargo transport. The EV Star is a great choice for cities, transit agencies and local organizations with a mandate to reduce emissions.  The EV Star is also eligible for a cash voucher under the SUVI program in British Columbia.

Transit agencies, tour operators, municipalities and utilities have been invited to discuss infrastructure, best practices for charging and general planning consideration for electric vehicle adoption.
