("Golden Band" or the "Company") (TSXV: GBN) announces it has engaged Primary Capital Inc.  ("Primary Capital") as its financial advisor to assist in identifying and evaluating strategic proposals to restructure and finance the Company with a view to maximizing shareholder value.  There can be no assurances that any transaction will result from these matters and the Company will apprise shareholders of any developments.

Primary Capital is a privately owned exempt market dealer with offices in Toronto and Vancouver that finances and provides M&A advice with a focus on public companies that are active worldwide.

Golden Band Resources Inc. is a gold producer operating in the La Ronge gold belt in northern Saskatchewan and is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange in Canada under the symbol GBN. Commercial production was declared on April 1, 2011.
