This move breaks from the traditional publishing calendar, which sees books released typically on Tuesdays. Canadians can look forward to getting the following titles on special Saturday release dates at Indigo, Chapters, Coles and Indigospirit locations this fall: Oh She Glows Every Day by Angela Liddon, The Darkest Dark by Chris Hadfield, 99: Stories of the Game by Wayne Gretzky and Canada by Mike Myers.

"We are always thinking about our customers and our ability to offer services that provide joy," says Krishna Nikhil, EVP of Print and Strategy, Indigo.  "Saturday releases are a big step forward and it's a relatively simple idea. We know we are already a big part of people's weekends, and Saturday is our busiest day of the week. Each of these hotly anticipated books is currently available for pre-order online at indigo.ca, and are also part of the Indigo Ticket program.
