TORONTO, Nov. 18, 2016 /CNW/ -  FT Portfolios Canada Co. (the "Manager"), the manager of the Fund is pleased to announce the completion of the conversion of First Trust Capital Strength Portfolio from a conventional mutual fund to an exchange traded fund named First Trust Capital Strength ETF (TSX: FST/FST.A) (the "Conversion").

Pursuant to the Conversion Class A Units of the Fund were redesignated as Advisor Class Units and Class F Units of the Fund were redesignated Common Units.

The Fund seeks to provide unitholders with long term capital appreciation by investing primarily in securities traded on a Canadian exchange or market. Further, an investment strategy of the Fund is to invest in equity securities of Canadian public companies.
