Earth Alive Receives Government Registration in Panama for Its Soil Activator(TM) Microbial Biofertilizer

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Oct. 26, 2016) - Earth Alive Clean Technologies Inc. (CSE:EAC)(CSE:EAC.CN) ("Earth Alive" or the "Company"), a leading developer and manufacturer of state-of-the-art microbial technology-based products, is pleased to announce that its microbial biofertilizer, Soil Activator™, has obtained final government registration approval in Panama.

Panama's land base includes 2.2 million acres used for agricultural purposes. In addition, a large proportion of the country's population (33.4%) live in rural areas and are dedicated to agricultural activities. Panama's main crops include sugar cane, rice, bananas, plantains, and maize. Notably, the country is making inroads into the production of organic pineapple, fresh vegetables and watermelon. Earth Alive's Soil Activator™ is a patent-pending, CFIA registered, non-crop-specific, organic microbial biofertilizer designed to produce more vigorous plants and higher yields.

"Panama's fertilizer and agricultural inputs market is very dynamic. Obtaining registration in the country does not only open up the Panamanian market to Earth Alive products but also allows us to offer Soil Activator to regional grower groups in Central America and the Caribbean" stated Michael Warren, Earth Alive's Vice President, Agriculture Global Operations.

"Panama is our 8th registration this year in Latin America, solidifying our position in this market and contributing our growing expertise on international trade regulation" added Miguel Monroe, Earth Alive Director of Business Affairs.
