TORONTO, Nov. 14, 2016 /CNW/ - Ceres Global Ag Corp. (TSX: CRP) ("Ceres" or the "Corporation") announced today the results of its annual and special meeting of shareholders held November 10, 2016. 

The nominees listed in the Management Information Circular dated October 14, 2016 were elected as directors of the Corporation.  The results of the vote are as follows:

In addition, at the annual and special meeting of shareholders, the shareholders of the Corporation:

  1. Appointed Wolrige Mahon LLP as the auditors of the Corporation for the ensuing year and authorized the directors of the Corporation to fix the remuneration of the auditors. 
  2. Ratified the resolution to consider and, if thought advisable, to pass, a resolution approving and ratifying By-law No 4 as described in the management information circular ("the Circular").
  3. Ratified the resolution to consider and, if thought advisable, to pass, a resolution approving the amendments to the Directors' Deferred Share Unit Plan, as described in the Circular.
