Aspect Imaging Celebrates First Installation of Embrace® Neonatal MRI System in Canada at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto

Aspect Imaging, the leading provider of compact MRI solutions, is proud to announce the successful installation of the Embrace® Neonatal MRI System at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto, Ontario, marking a significant milestone as the first installation of its kind in Canada.

The Embrace® Neonatal MRI System, renowned for its compact design and advanced patient-focused approach to MRI, is specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of premature and newborn patients within the environment of the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Among the many unique features of the Embrace® is the self-shielded design, which eliminates the need for a special shielded room and expansive floor space typically required with conventional MR systems. With the ability to perform MRI scans without leaving the NICU, the risks, challenges and stress typically associated with transporting the baby out of the NICU can be avoided.
