Yellow Pages Limited Appoints David A. Eckert as President and CEO

MONTREAL, Sept. 15, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - Yellow Pages Limited (TSX: Y) (the "Company") today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed David A. Eckert as President and CEO, effective immediately.

"David has a keen understanding of our industry and a proven track record of improving business performance," said Robert MacLellan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yellow Pages.  "As a CEO, David has demonstrated his ability to devise and execute on strategic plans to deliver results.  David is the right person to lead Yellow Pages as we focus on stabilizing and growing the business over the long-term.  We are delighted to welcome him to the management team."

Mr. Eckert has served as CEO of international companies in a wide range of industries over the course of his 35-year career.  Notably, he led the business transformation of Hibu, a former directory publisher turned digital marketing company, based in the United Kingdom.  Mr. Eckert has also been a member or chair of numerous public and private boards of directors, including the Yellow Pages Limited Board of Directors, which he joined in May 2017.

Over the past 35 years, David Eckert has served as Chief Executive Officer of international companies in a wide range of industries (including the Hibu Group, a business providing print advertising, websites, and other internet services to small and medium enterprise customers).  He was Vice President and Partner at Bain & Company and has been a member or chair of numerous public and private boards of directors, including the Hibu Group, X-Rite, Inc. (NASDAQ: XRIT), Clean Harbors, Inc.
