VANCOUVER, British Columbia, May 31, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Western Pacific Trust Company  (TSXV:WP) (the “Company”) is pleased to announce that, subject to regulatory approval, Mr. Bruce H. Bailey, CPA, CA, has been appointed to the Board of Directors effective May 28, 2018.

Mr. Bailey started his career at Price Waterhouse & Company, following which he served as Controller at two mining companies for a combined seven years. He then spent the following 25 years at JPMorgan Asset Management (Canada), where he served as Vice-President Finance and Director until his retirement in 2013.   

Also effective May 28, 2018, Mr. Steven O. Youngman, Deputy Board Chair and Director, Trusts, of Western Pacific, was appointed Corporate Secretary of the Company.
