Vision Lithium Drills 22.4m of 1.7% LI2O on Sirmac Lithium Property

Canada NewsWire

VAL-D'OR, QC, May 30, 2018 /CNW/ - Vision Lithium Inc. (TSXV: VLI) (OTC: ABEPF) (the "Company" or "VLI") is pleased to announce the initial results from its 1,500 metre drilling program consisting of approximately 25 shallow drill holes targeting the #5 Dyke outcrop area. The Sirmac lithium property, acquired from Nemaska Lithium Inc. ("Nemaska"), consists of 194 mining claims having a total area of approximately 10,350 hectares, and is located 180 kilometres by road north-west of Chibougamau, Quebec.

"I am very pleased with our initial drilling results. The twin hole is almost an exact replica of the hole originally drilled by Nemaska back in 2011, and gives us added confidence in the balance of their historical work. Hole SIR-18-02 is an infill hole and returned excellent widths and grade. Results over 1% Li2O are what we want to see, these grades are quite exceptional and we are very pleased to see such significant widths," said Yves Rougerie, President and CEO of Vision Lithium.

Rougerie continued, "Our next step will be to start the metallurgy work to demonstrate that this material can make an acceptable concentrate. We are targeting a concentrate of 6% Li2O or higher. We will use the core from our drill program for the metallurgical testing at the lab. Once we see the results of the metallurgy we will confirm that the concentrate can make a battery grade lithium hydroxide and lithium carbonate. We have contacted the lab to book this testing."

The #5 Dyke is the initial target, as the historical work done by Nemaska and previous operators was primarily focused on this large outcrop. Since acquiring the property, Vision Lithium has acquired another 170 claims surrounding the original claims and extending several km eastward, thus providing for ample new exploration and potential drill targets in addition to the #5 Dyke. Summer field exploration work is planned for the newly acquired claims.
