Vision Lithium Commences Summer Exploration Program on New Lithium Target at Sirmac and Starts Metallurgical Testing

Canada NewsWire

VAL-D'OR, QC, July 24, 2018 /CNW/ - Vision Lithium Inc. (TSXV: VLI) (OTC: ABEPF) (the "Company" or "VLI") is pleased to announce the exploration of a significant Lithium mineralized dyke located more than 5 km from the main No. 5 dyke which was the target of the winter drill program. This zone appears to be several hundred metres in length and appears to host widespread spodumene crystals. Two grab samples from this area were assayed and returned results of 2.37% Li2O and  2.72% Li2O. A follow up channel sampling program on the exposed areas is underway on this exciting target. A stripping program in order to better delineate the mineralized intrusive is in the permit stage and limited drilling is in planning for later this summer.

Yves Rougerie, President and CEO of Vision Lithium commented. "Our ground crew is very excited by the size of this LCT pegmatite and the visible lithium mineralization contained within. Their initial assessment indicates that the target merits a channel sampling program which is currently underway. Over the summer we will continue to explore other areas on the Sirmac property as we are aware of a number of other pegmatite dykes which need to be examined to determine if they have visible mineralization that would warrant follow up exploration work."

The Company also announced that it has signed an agreement with SGS Lakefield to commence metallurgical testing on the core from the winter drill program as well as samples taken from outcrops on the Sirmac Property. The goal of the testing is to confirm that this material can make an acceptable spodumene concentrate.

Rougerie continued, "We are targeting a concentrate of 6% Li2O or higher. Once we see the results of the metallurgy we will also confirm that the concentrate can make a battery grade lithium hydroxide and lithium carbonate. SGS-Lakefield is a renowned lab and has worked with many lithium companies, including Nemaska Lithium, to verify their ore is amenable to making quality concentrate. We are currently preparing the samples for shipping to the lab. It's been a busy summer thus far for Vision Lithium and we will have much to report in the coming months."

The information of scientific or technical information in this release has been reviewed and approved by Yves Rougerie, geo, President and CEO of the Company. Mr. Rougerie is a qualified person as defined by NI 43-101.

All rock samples were sent for preparation and analysis to the ALS Chemex laboratory in Val-d'Or, Quebec. The samples were transported to Val d'Or by secure transport and delivered to ALS Chemex. Vision Lithium Inc. applies a rigorous quality control protocol.
