Uniserve’s recent acquisition doubles revenue expectations

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 13, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Uniserve Communications Corporation (Uniserve) is pleased to announce a doubling of the expected revenues from the acquisition of RootCellar Technologies in July. RootCellar’s one month revenue is now anticipated to come in at $1.2M versus the $600,000 prior expectations, which includes a multi-year contract to supply the City of Brampton with an enterprise class storage infrastructure and associated Professional Services to help their team integrate the platform into their IT environment. The Uniserve Enterprise Solutions team is in discussion with additional municipalities and public entities to deliver enhanced storage, security, and data centre capabilities.

Uniserve has also recently streamlined several key operational positions within its core business, providing new operational costs savings of circa $800,000 annualized. This is in addition to the RootCellar acquisition which has created a strengthening of product offerings as well as a significant increase in the depth of the Managed Services portfolio.

CEO Nicholas Jeffery says: “The Uniserve Enterprise Solutions team is now stronger than ever. Along with the ongoing relationship with the City of Brampton, we anticipate several more successes with our Municipal Enterprise strategy.”

The recent RootCellar acquisition also allows the new sales team to deliver on partnership products using Trustwave and RootSecure, which primarily provide world class security without the need for additional resources.
