Saskatoon, Saskatchewan - TheNewswire - May 1, 2020 - UEX Corporation (TSX:UEX) (“UEX” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce a non‑brokered private placement of 4,375,000 units of the Company at a price of $0.16 per unit for gross proceeds of $700,000 (the “Private Placement”).   Each unit will consist of one common share of the Company and one-half of one common share purchase warrant, with each whole warrant exercisable for one common share at a price of $0.21 for a period of three years. The common shares issued under the Private Placement will be purchased by accredited or institutional investors.  The Company will pay a cash finders’ fee of 6% in connection with subscriptions from certain subscribers introduced by finders at arm’s length to the Company. The Company is reserving the right to increase the Private Placement to issue up to 6,250,000 units at $0.16 per unit to raise a total of up to $1.0 million.

The Company intends to use the net proceeds of the Private Placement to support planned exploration activities at Christie Lake and for general working capital.

The Private Placement is scheduled to close on or about May 15, 2020 and is subject to certain conditions including, but not limited to, the receipt of all necessary regulatory and other approvals including the approval of the Toronto Stock Exchange.  Resale of the common shares of the Company distributed under the Private Placement will be restricted, including a hold period in Canada of four months and one day following the closing date of the Private Placement.
