Women in Technology (WIT) is thrilled to announce our impressive list of local Atlanta Executives and Leaders that will host our signature fundraising event, WIT Connect 2020, to be held Virtually, Thursday, July 23.

PR Newswire

ATLANTA, July 3, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- This impressive list includes: Tye Hayes, CTO, City of Atlanta; Bryson Koehler, CTO, Equifax; Vish Narendra, CIO, Graphic Packaging International; Angel Nicole VanEllison, Program Director, WIT YoPros; Patti Dismukes, Vice President of Professional Services, HUNTER Technical Resources.

"I am looking forward to the WIT Connect Event where I can personally contribute to the advancement of WIT's mission," says Vish Narendra, CIO, Graphic Packaging International. "Graphic Packaging strongly aligns to WIT's commitment to diversity and supports their mission of empowerment and leadership of women in STEAM. It is critical that we work together to help with the advancement of women in STEAM and we help raise funds that will enable WIT to further their cause."

"I cannot thank these leaders enough for all they do to continually support WIT," says Penny Collins WIT President and CEO. "With this being our first virtual fundraising event, we could not ask for better executives and leaders to be our hosts, celebrate our scholarship winners and further talk about the importance of WIT."

Since its inception, WIT Connect has gathered nearly 800 of Atlanta's top executives to raise more than $3.2 million to support the development of young girls and the advancement of women in science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM).

Each year, before the program, WIT hosts a special VIP Reception for invited WIT Connect guests and C-Suite executives participating in the Executive Auction Experience. This year the VIP Networking reception will be held virtually.

Philanthropy:
The premier fundraising and networking event includes a unique executive auction experience which allows individuals to compete for exclusive time with top Atlanta C-Suite executives. Proceeds from the executive auction support WIT Girls and Campus – WIT's free educational programs for girls and young women. Music, silent auction, an exclusive VIP virtual networking reception and a celebration of our 2020 scholarship recipients round out the festivities for this special event.
