(TSXV:TTD) (OTC:TKSTF) ("Tinkerine" or the "Company") announces the formation of an Educational Advisory Board to enhance Tinkerine’s understanding and integration of Applied Design, Skills, and Technologies (“ADST”) into its educational solutions.

 

An important part of Tinkerine’s “D-School Initiative” is the formation of an expert, Education Advisory Board to work with the Company on the implementation of its ADST K-14 strategies & solutions.  

 

Tinkerine’s founding management team were brought together at the university level by their shared passion for applied design and how to best prepare our children on its critical role in the production of everything imaginable.  

 

In an effort to learn about important innovative breakthroughs in applied design and 3D technologies, and how to integrate them into K-14 teaching and learning, the company is searching for a few unique experts to advise them on how to best prepare our students for their educations and careers that will be driven by design thinking and demonstrated with advanced 3D technologies.  

 

The Advisory Board will assist the company and its school clients in the following ways:

 
  • - Assist in the creation of design-centric, real-world project-based curricula & challenges;

    - Understand the best ways to integrate ADST and 3D printing into K-14 curricula;

    - Deconstruct and simplify complex processes in real-world design/3D applications which includes;

    • - Simplify teaching & learning foundational elements at elementary, middle & high school levels;

      - Understand how to apply core educational learning theories & practices;

    - Identify ways to teach associated skills like design thinking, project management and teamwork.
