Tiff's Treats Opens Warm Cookie Delivery Store in Charlotte, N.C.; Grand Opening Saturday, August 24, to Feature Brooklyn Decker and Andy Roddick

Charlotte expansion brings Tiff's Treats store count to 52

PR Newswire

AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 19, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Tiff's Treats, the Austin, Texas-based company that pioneered warm cookie delivery, has announced its first Charlotte location is now open at 7314 Waverly Walk Avenue, Suite E3, with a grand opening this Saturday from 9 a.m.3 p.m. to be attended by actress/model Brooklyn Decker and tennis star Andy Roddick, brand ambassadors for Tiff's Treats.

The grand opening will feature hot-out-of-the-oven Tiff's Treats cookies for $1 per dozen in honor of the company's first store in Charlotte. Customers can purchase up to three dozen cookies per person in the fan-favorite flavors of chocolate chip and snickerdoodle (no advance orders; customers can simply get in line for warm, fresh cookies). Attendees are encouraged to arrive early; Tiff's Treats will give $100 gift cards to the first 40 people in line. All attendees have a chance to receive prizes from local businesses inserted in random cookie boxes plus a chance to win free cookies for a year.

For every box of cookies sold at the grand opening, Tiff's Treats will donate $5 to Mecklenburg County Special Olympics, up to $5,000.

"One of our favorite things about Tiff's Treats is with every store opening they donate proceeds to a local organization," said Brooklyn Decker, who is a Charlotte-area native. "I am a global Special Olympics Ambassador and Charlotte is a special market for us, not only because I grew up here, but because my aunt is a Special Olympics athlete here. This partnership was a no-brainer. Andy and I are thrilled to show both our continued support for Special Olympics and our continued fandom for Tiff's Treats cookies."

Decker and Roddick, the newest members of the charitably-minded company's team of investors and advisors, will be at the event until 11 a.m. to meet guests.

Charlotte residents got a sneak peek of the warm cookies over the past several months. Tiff's Treats has served the area with a pop-up delivery service preceding the opening of its retail location. With the new store open, the full Tiff's Treats menu features 10 classic cookie flavors and periodic flavor-of-the-week cookies, plus warm brownies and cold milk and ice cream. Customers can order online or through the Tiff's Treats app for hot-out-of-the-oven delivery in about an hour. Tiff's Treats is open from 9 a.m.10 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m.10 p.m. on weekends.

"Entering the North Carolina market is an exciting move for our business, and Charlotte, with its mix of culture and southern hospitality, is the perfect fit for what we offer – warm treats that can help people share a moment of joy, remember a milestone or just satisfy a sweet tooth," said Tiffany Chen, co-founder of Tiff's Treats.

Grand opening guests are invited to bring new regulation sport balls and/or equipment for the Mecklenburg County Special Olympics and receive a $5 Tiff's Treats gift card in exchange. Proceeds from the grand opening will offset costs for the fall 2019 soccer program, including uniforms, equipment, facility rental fees, game fees, officials, housing, meals and travel expenses.

Tiff's Treats stores are cashless. Only debit and credit cards will be accepted at the grand opening event.
