VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Feb. 23, 2017 /CNW/ -- The countdown to TEDxStanleyPark is underway and tickets are selling out fast for the day-long multi-speaker event. TEDxStanleyPark returns to Downtown Vancouver on March 4, 2017, at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. The day will run from 10am–6pm and the theme of this year's event is Inspiring Brave Actions.

TEDxStanleyPark is one of the world's largest TED conferences. Passionate talks address a wide range of humanity's tough challenges and offer practical and optimistic solutions. TEDxStanleyPark trains their speakers to give the speech of their lives, and because of the intense level of speaker training, last year's event received 15 standing ovations. In the past, tickets for this event have sold out well in advance, and this year, over half of the tickets are already gone, with only a few VIP tickets left.
