Free overnight parking during snow removal periods

MONTRÉAL, Dec. 11, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - Stationnement de Montréal announces that it will participate in Ville de Montréal's Operation snow removal for a 10th year by offering free overnight parking (9 p.m. to 7 a.m.) in 2,158 parking spaces in 21 designated parking lots during snow removal periods.

"With this alternative parking offer, we want to help citizens park their cars at night to facilitate snow removal and snow loading operations", explained Charles Auger, general manager of Stationnement de Montréal.

The rules are simple: as soon as the city of Montreal orders the loading of snow, residents may park their vehicles free of charge in designated parking lots as of 9 p.m. They must be sure to park only in designated spaces, avoiding areas reserved for permit holders. They must also remove their vehicles from the parking lots by 7 a.m. the next day, when regular parking operations will resume.

For a list of participating parking lots, visit our Web site at www.statdemtl.qc.ca, or call our customer service department at 514 868-3737. Almost 2,158 spaces in several different boroughs will be available free of charge during the snow loading periods ordered by Ville de Montréal.
