February 15 is National Flag of Canada Day

OTTAWA, Feb. 15, 2019 /CNW/ - Today we celebrate the 54^th anniversary of the National Flag of Canada. Our flag is a symbol that unites us all and reflects our common values of equality, diversity and inclusion.

Our beautiful flag is a representation of who we are as Canadians: a diverse family, united in shared democratic values.

For the many Canadians who travel abroad, seeing the Canadian flag on the suitcase of a fellow traveller or displayed at an international event instantly evokes a feeling of warmth and belonging.
