(TSX VENTURE: RYU & Frankfurt Stock Exchange: RYA) ("RYU" or the "Company"), creator of urban athletic apparel, is pleased to announce that, further to its news release dated February 9, 2018, it has closed a non-brokered private placement financing (the "Financing") of 33,315,070 common shares at a price of $0.12 per common share for gross proceeds of $3,997,808.

The Company issued 1,104,167 common shares to a certain finder in connection with the Financing.  All securities issued in the Financing are subject to a statutory hold period expiring June 20, 2018.

None of the securities issued in the Financing will be registered under the United States Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the "1933 Act"), and none of them may be offered or sold in the United States absent registration or an applicable exemption from the registration requirements of the 1933 Act.
