Stephen J. Sorocky appointed as new CEO

TORONTO, Feb. 26, 2019 /CNW/ - Redline Communications (www.rdlcom.com) Group Inc. (TSX: RDL), the creator of powerful wide-area wireless networks for mission-critical applications in challenging locations, today announced the appointment of Stephen J. Sorocky as Chief Executive Officer, effective March 14, 2019.  Mr. Sorocky will replace Robert Williams, who has been leading the Company since 2013.

Stephen Sorocky has been a member of the board of directors of Redline since June of 2018 and is an accomplished senior technology executive with broad experience in venture capital backed and public company environments.

He served previously as CEO and Director of Skytrac Systems Ltd., an avionics and data services company, President & CEO of LxData Inc. an Oil & Gas instrumentation developer, and President & CEO and Director of Virtek Vision International Inc. [TSE:VRK]. As VP& GM, he led the Space Robotics Division of Spar Aerospace Ltd, including responsibility for all robotics on the Space Shuttle and International Space Station. Stephen received an MBA in International Finance and International Business from McGill University, and a B.A.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Toronto. He is a Professional Engineer and holds the Chartered Director designation C.Dir. Stephen serves on the Board of the Canadian Commercial Corporation and is the Vice-Chair of Board of the Ontario Telemedicine Network.
