MISSISSAUGA, ON / ACCESSWIRE / May 3, 2021 / Redishred Capital Corp ("Redishred" or "Company") (TSXV:KUT) announces the completion of the acquisition of the Proshred Richmond business from its franchisee located in Richmond, Virginia, effective May 1, 2021. The Richmond location earned approximately $870,000 USD in revenue during the fiscal year 2020 ($1,025,000 USD - 2019) and currently operates 4 trucks in the Richmond market.

The purchase price of the acquisition was $1.475 million USD of which the Company paid $1.075 million in cash on closing. The remaining consideration was in the form of an earnout provision tied to attaining financial metrics.

The acquisition includes on-site paper shredding trucks, containers, client relationships and other assets used in the shredding business. Redishred views this acquisition as accretive to its cash flows and earnings per share.
