OTTAWA, May 15, 2019 /CNW/ - Today, RCMP Commissioner Brenda Lucki visited the Musical Ride stables to perform the annual Commissioner's Inspection of this year's troop of horses and riders on the world-renowned Musical Ride.
This event officially kicks off the Musical Ride tour, which will visit communities in Ontario, Quebec and Alberta this summer. In addition, this year's tour will include a stop at Breyerfest in Lexington, Kentucky, and one in Hay River, Northwest Territories.
Following the inspection, the Commissioner and visitors at the Musical Ride stables were treated to a performance, seeing first-hand that the Musical Ride is ready to represent the RCMP and Canada.
The Musical Ride is proud to uphold the rich heritage and traditions of the RCMP, while helping to raise funds for local charities and community initiatives across Canada.
