This event officially kicks off the Musical Ride tour, which will visit communities in Ontario, Quebec and Alberta this summer. In addition, this year's tour will include a stop at Breyerfest in Lexington, Kentucky, and one in Hay River, Northwest Territories.

Following the inspection, the Commissioner and visitors at the Musical Ride stables were treated to a performance, seeing first-hand that the Musical Ride is ready to represent the RCMP and Canada.

The Musical Ride is proud to uphold the rich heritage and traditions of the RCMP, while helping to raise funds for local charities and community initiatives across Canada.

For those looking for a great Canadian experience this summer, there is nothing more Canadian than the RCMP's Musical Ride. Anyone interested in seeing a performance this summer can visit our website to see the tour schedule at http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/even/en/t/2/e

"It was an honour to participate in this annual tradition and meet each musical ride member before they go on tour. I know they'll represent the RCMP with pride and that both Canadians and visitors will love the show. I wish them a safe and successful tour."
