Public Notice - LaSalle Causeway to reopen

Canada NewsWire

KINGSTON, ON, May 15, 2019 /CNW/ - Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to advise the public that the LaSalle Causeway will reopen to boaters as of Thursday, May 16, at 6 am.

The closure was due to the high water levels and flow of the Cataraqui River. Safety measures have been put in place, and the lift bridge can now be operated safely. The causeway has been inspected and can safely be reopened.

PSPC thanks the marine traffic community for their patience.
