Public Notice - Chaudiere Crossing to reopen

Canada NewsWire

GATINEAU, QC, Aug. 23, 2019 /CNW/ - Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to advise the public that the Chaudiere Crossing will be reopened to all private, commercial and truck traffic as of Tuesday, August 27, at 5 am.

Chaudiere Crossing (CNW Group/Public Services and Procurement Canada)

The planned construction work on the Booth Street/Eddy Street corridor has progressed to a point that allows all users to travel the crossing.

For more information on the construction work, please visit https://transformationchaudiere.ca/.

It is anticipated that additional work will be completed on the Chaudiere Crossing in the upcoming months, which might require occasional short-term lane closures during off-peak hours. We will inform the public in advance when lane closures or reductions are necessary.

PSPC thanks all users for their patience.
