OTTAWA, ON, Dec. 3, 2021 /CNW/ - The Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, today announced changes to the structure and mandate of Cabinet committees to reflect recent changes to the Ministry. The changes reflect the Government of Canada's priorities, including finishing the fight against COVID-19, creating jobs and growing the middle class, walking the shared path of reconciliation, putting home ownership back in reach for everyone, and tackling climate change.
The new list of Cabinet committees is as follows:
There will also be sub-committees on Intergovernmental Coordination, Litigation Management and on the federal response to the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The Incident Response Group will also continue to be convened, as needed, to respond to immediate crises.
