Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - November 21, 2022) - PreveCeutical Medical Inc. (CSE: PREV) (OTCQB: PRVCF) (FSE: 18H) (the "Company" or "PreveCeutical"), is pleased to announce it has filed a PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) application number PCT/IB2022/06117 on November 18, 2022, entitled "Peptides and Uses Thereof", with the aim of seeking protection for certain peptides comprising D-amino acids and their use in methods of treating brain cancer.

This patent application is made to protect the peptides comprising D-amino acids identified in the BSV research project. These peptides have the potential, at least in part, to work as an MMP inhibitor.

Mr. Stephen Van Deventer, who has been named as one of the inventors of this invention, has assigned any and all of its rights in the invention and patent to the Company.

PreveCeutical's Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Stephen Van Deventer, commented, "This patent will protect the peptides which have the potential for cancer treatments. We are actively seeking partners to work with for these treatments."
