TORONTO, Sept. 20, 2018 /CNW/ - OV2 Investment 1 Inc. (TSXV: OVO.P) (the "Company"), a capital pool company, today announced that Colin Fisher, CEO of Stableview Asset Management has been nominated as a Director. The Company will be holding an annual meeting of shareholders on October 23, 2018 at the offices of Gowling WLG (Canada) LLP, 1 First Canadian Place, 100 King Street West, Suite 1600, Toronto, Ontario at 10:00 a.m. Toronto time to, among other items of annual business, elect directors. Eric Apps has agreed to resign as a director effective immediately. The Company thanks Mr. Apps for his service to the Company.

The Company also wishes to announce that the previously announced proposed qualifying transaction with The Ledger Group Inc. has expired and is no longer proceeding. The Company is now seeking out new emerging growth opportunities.

About the Company

The Company is a CPC. It has not commenced commercial operations and has no assets other than a minimum amount of cash. Except as specifically contemplated in the CPC policies of the TSXV, until Completion of the Qualifying Transaction, the Company will not carry on any business other than the identification and evaluation of assets or businesses with a view to completing a proposed Qualifying Transaction.
