TORONTO, June 29, 2017 /CNW/ -- Global workforces are enabling Canadian businesses to work smarter and focus on future business strategy according to international Diversify Offshore Staffing Solutions, which recently launched their North American operations, headquartered in Toronto, earlier this month.

Angela Vidler, Diversify CEO, said the Canadian expansion was fuelled by the increasing number of enquiries coming from businesses in Canada and the US who are looking wider in their search for diverse and efficient workforces.

According to Ms Vidler, it's not just small businesses looking to fill roles cost effectively, but medium to large businesses who understand the value of offshoring.

"Contrary to what many people believe, offshoring is not outsourcing. Companies are investing in global teams to meet the increasing demands of their business, rather than cut corners," Ms Vidler said.

"While IT offshoring has been around in Canada for a few years, Canada is only now just realising the potential of offshoring other process and labour-intensive roles.

"Some may be sceptical of offshoring and its impact on local job markets, but it in fact it can accelerate local employment opportunities by adding 1 to 1.1 jobs across high-value roles such as management, operations and strategic business development.

"Overall, this can positively impact the efficiencies of a business and assist with scalability and future growth."
