(“NuVista” or the “Company”) (TSX:NVA) NuVista Energy Ltd. is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Mike Lawford to Chief Operating Officer, reporting to Mr. Jonathan Wright, President & Chief Executive Officer.  Mr. Lawford has been with the Company for 6 years in the capacity of Vice President of Development, and in the new role he will oversee all aspects of NuVista's development, operations, HSE, and facilities.  Mr. Chris McDavid, formerly Vice President of Operations, is now appointed Vice President of Development and Engineering.  Mr. McDavid has been with the Company for over 14 years, since NuVista’s inception.  Mr. Ryan Paulgaard, formerly Manager of Production, is appointed Vice President of Production and Facilities.  Mr. Paulgaard has also been with NuVista since our inception in 2003.
