Northview Announces Appointment of Valery Zamuner to Board of Trustees

CALGARY, Alberta, Sept. 04, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Board of Trustees of Northview Apartment Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX:NVU.UN) ("Northview") today announced the appointment of Valery Zamuner as a Trustee of Northview.

"We are very pleased that Ms. Zamuner accepted our invitation to join the Northview Board," said Chair Scott Thon. "Ms. Zamuner’s impressive achievements coupled with her legal background and years of corporate governance experience will serve our Unitholders well."

Valery Zamuner acts as Senior Vice-President of Mergers, Acquisitions & Strategic Initiatives for Stingray (TSX: RAY.A; RAY.B); a leading global provider of multiplatform of music and video services with a global reach of approximately 400 million Pay-TV subscribers (or households) in 156 countries and more than 100 million mobile app downloads.

Ms. Zamuner has more than 18 years of experience in international and domestic mergers and acquisitions for public and private companies. Prior to joining Stingray, Ms. Zamuner held the positions of Executive Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions and Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of WSP Global Inc. (TSX: WSP-T).

Ms. Zamuner holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Laval University and an MBA from the John Molson School of Business (Concordia University). She is a member of the Quebec Bar.
