The Fields are located onshore in the Eastern Venezuela Basin and have an aggregate area of 794.2 square kilometers (km2). It also entered into a definitive agreement to acquire over 49% equity stake in Operaciones Petroleras Soledad S.de R.L. de C.V. (OPS), a private oil and gas company in Mexico. OPS is the third-party contractor and operator of a hydrocarbons production contractor.
