NEXT-ChemX Corporation is engaged in developing membrane-based ion extraction technology. The membrane-based ion extraction technology mimics biophysical processes in nature to separate low concentrations of ions from any liquid and extract them into highly a concentrated form. It is also developing pilot plant systems to demonstrate its performance to potential clients in order to market commercial systems for its applications. The Company also focuses on the extraction of lithium brines, leach solutions, or recycled battery solutions. Its potential applications include extracting fatty acids from vegetable oils for more economical refining; extracting radioactive ions from nuclear plant stored water; extracting metal ions from mine leach solutions, effluent, or tailings, and desalination of sea water, by extracting ions for water purification. Its technology can remove radioactive strontium, cesium, cobalt and other radioactive ions that exist in very low concentrations.
