DALLAS --

Eyecare Services Partners (ESP), the national leader in integrated eye care services, announced the appointment of Nicholas C. Sacco as Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Sacco comes to ESP with 18 years of leadership experience at Sheridan Healthcare Inc., a provider of comprehensive outsourced physician practice management services to hospital systems for anesthesiology, women's and children's healthcare, emergency medicine, and radiology. Over the course of his career at Sheridan, he served in various operations and business development roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently he was Senior Vice President of Operations and Chief of Staff. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President, Operations, for their Women’s and Children’s Healthcare Division, overseeing 52 hospital-based physician clients and 20 office-based women’s practices.

“Nicholas is a proven operations leader with extensive experience in multi-site practice management,” said Daniel D. Crowley, Executive Chairman of ESP. “He has a track record of working collaboratively with providers and maintaining a strong focus on communication, team development, systematic processes, and key performance indicators.”

“ESP is breaking new ground as a first mover in the integration and consolidation of eye care services,” Mr. Sacco said. “It is an exciting place to be, and I am delighted to be part of the team building this organization.”

Mr. Sacco received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Nova Southeastern University, in Davie, Fla., and his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management and International Business from Florida International University in Miami.
