WHAT: | Please join us as we host national non-profit Wreaths Across America to place veterans' wreaths on the more than 253,000 headstones at Arlington National Cemetery on Saturday, Dec. 18 – National Wreaths Across America Day. This is the 30th year that live, balsam wreaths will be placed on these hallowed grounds during the holiday season in remembrance and honor of our nation's fallen service members and their families. Throughout the day, visitors can receive updates by following Arlington National Cemetery on social media @ArlingtonNatl. |

Media access will NOT be permitted at other gates. | |
NOTE: All parking requests must be pre-approved and noted on your media credential request form. If you need to bring your vehicle into the cemetery, you will be required to coordinate with a public affairs officer on site when you are ready to exit. We highly recommend arriving via ride share (Uber, Lyft). The drop off location is the Hayes lot (599-549 Army Navy Drive). From there, you can walk to the cemetery's Service Complex Gate. | |

INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITIES: By request only, interviews will be made available between 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. with the below spokespersons:
LIVESTREAMING OPPORTUNITIES: Livestreaming opportunities will be permitted this year by request only at either South Gate or at the top of the Women in Military Service for America Memorial (WIMSA). Also by request only, standups and interviews will be permitted at the top of the WIMSA. Please note that livestreaming is only allowed in these two locations. Livestreaming is not allowed elsewhere in the cemetery at any time.

Wreaths Across America is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded to continue and expand the annual wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery begun by Maine businessman Morrill Worcester in 1992. The organization's yearlong mission – Remember, Honor, Teach – is carried out in part each year by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies in December at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 3,100 cemeteries and other locations in all 50 states and overseas.
