NanoXplore Receives Prestegious Technology Innovation Award for 2018

MONTREAL, Dec. 19, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- NanoXplore Inc. (“NanoXplore” or the “Corporation”) (TSX-V: GRA) is pleased to announce that it has been recognized for the 2018 North American Graphene Technology Innovation Award presented by Frost & Sullivan.

Frost & Sullivan’s Best Practices Awards recognize companies throughout a range of regional and global markets for superior leadership, technological innovation, customer service, and strategic product development. Frost & Sullivan's industry analyst team benchmarks market participants and measures their performance through independent, primary interviews, and secondary industry research in order to evaluate and identify best practices. The 2018 Technology Innovation Award was in recognition of NanoXplore’s innovations in graphene technologies, its ability to scale graphene production, and its emphasis on customer-focused partnerships that have made NanoXplore a strong leader in the graphene industry.

"NanoXplore's primary focus is on developing graphene composite materials, such as graphene-enhanced polymers for engineering plastics, with enhanced electrical, thermal, and mechanical properties," said Nadzeya Viktarovich, Research Analyst at TechVision division.

Graphene exhibits superior properties that improve the performance and functionality of the materials in which it is used. Although this promising material had initially been considered too expensive, NanoXplore has developed a proprietary technology that allows the production of high-quality graphene at the most attractive price in today’s market. "This level of technological superiority was possible due to the company's close collaborations with customers, right from the material conceptualization stage to end-product manufacturing. The co-development ensures durability, functional integration, and the capability for mass production with high yields and low costs," noted Nadzeya Viktarovich. “In addition to its exceptional product properties, NanoXplore's customer-focused partnerships have positioned it as an innovative company and a strong leader in the graphene market."

Soroush Nazarpour, CEO and President of NanoXplore, commented on the Technology Innovation Award: “We are honored and greatly appreciate Frost and Sullivan’s recognition for this prestigious award. This achievement further illustrates NanoXplore’s technical capabilities within the graphene industry and why we consider ourselves a thought leader in graphene production. We are proud of everyone on our team and thank them for their diligent effort as we work towards becoming the largest graphene producer. We would also like to thank all our shareholders that support NanoXplore and Frost & Sullivan for this milestone event”.

Previous recipients of the reward include HP, Landis+Gyr, BMW, and Cummins. The award was presented to NanoXplore on December 3rd in San Antonio, Texas at Frost & Sullivan’s Best Practices Awards ceremony.
