BIG WHITE, B.C., Jan. 22, 2017 /CNW/ - The late accreditation period for the Big White 2017 World Para Snowboard Championships to be held Feb. 1 to 8 is now open. Media are invited to click the link below to apply for accreditation:

With more than 100 athletes and support staff from over 20 countries expected to attend, this will be the ultimate test for riders ahead of next year's Paralympic Winter Games. Team Canada will be well represented on home soil with two-time X Games medalist Alex Massie (Barrie, ON), and 2014 Sochi Paralympians John Leslie (Arnprior, ON) and Michelle Salt (Calgary, AB), expected to lead one of the largest teams of the Championships.
