OTTAWA, Dec. 15, 2017 /CNW/ - Statistics Canada and the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation are working together to improve housing-related data in Canada. Members of the media are invited to a bilingual technical briefing on the release of important housing related statistics.

On Tuesday, December 19, 2017, Statistics Canada will publish, in The Daily, the first estimates from the Canadian Housing Statistics Program on residential property in the Toronto and Vancouver Census Metropolitan Areas (CMAs).

On the same day, the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation CMHC will release the most recent estimates from the Condominium Apartment Survey for selected major centres since 2014, including the CMAs of Toronto and Vancouver.
