Vancouver, Canada – TheNewswire - July 16, 2020 – Medgold Resources Corp. (TSXV:MED) is pleased to report that it has closed its previously announced private placement financing with the issuance of 40 million units at $0.05 per unit, for gross proceeds of $2 million, which included the sale of $850,000 worth of Units to a group of strategic investors led by Palisades Goldcorp Ltd.  Each unit consists of one common share and one warrant entitling the holder to purchase one additional common share of the Company at $0.10 for three years from closing.  

 

In connection with this financing, the Company paid finder’s fees totaling $43,500 cash and issued a total of 870,000 warrants which have the same terms as described above.  The common shares and warrants issued in the placement are subject to a resale restriction until November 16, 2020.  

The proceeds of the placement are intended to be used for further development of the Company’s Tlamino Project in Serbia, and for general working capital purposes.
